Common questions
Yes, almost always. Townsville City Council requires a building permit for nearly all shed builds in our cyclone-prone region, regardless of size. We handle the lodgement and the private certifier. You don't touch a form.
Wind Region C covers most of coastal North Queensland, including Townsville. It is designed for cyclonic conditions with gust speeds up to 252 km/h. Every OTTO shed is engineered to meet or exceed AS/NZS 1170.2 Region C requirements, with heavier-gauge purlins, custom cyclone bracketry and site-specific tie-down.
Most OTTO sheds are quoted within one business day, engineered and council-approved within 4 to 6 weeks, and built within 2 to 3 weeks of slab cure. Total: typically 6 to 12 weeks from yes to keys, depending on size and council workload.
Yes. We service the full inland corridor from Charters Towers to Pentland, Greenvale, Hidden Valley and Ravenswood. Delivery and crew travel are included in your quote. No surprise surcharges.
Everything from your block to handover: site assessment, Region C engineering, council approval, certified slab, full EziBuilt kit, build, trims, gutters, downpipes and a written warranty. The number we quote is the number you pay.
Yes. Every dimension, span, eave height, door size, window position, roof profile and COLORBOND® colour is your choice. Andrew brings physical samples to the site visit so you can see the colours against the surrounds before you decide.
Yes, 100%. EziBuilt only uses genuine BlueScope COLORBOND® and ZINCALUME® steel, never imported. Your build comes with the full BlueScope warranty.
Yes. We work with progress payment structures and can refer you to specialist rural finance brokers if you would like. Ask Andrew on the first site visit.
